Find Care & Housing
I don’t mix my mom’s money with mine, she has her social security go into one account, which my name is on with her name ...and my paycheck goes into another account, that I draw from. I also have her aarp supplemental insurance come out of her account so I can show she is paying it from her money ...I pay for just about everything else, you don’t want to mix money, it’s to much explaining..I just keep them separate...and that way it’s easy to explain to the government of if i ever need to

I think only your mother is the one to or not to add your name to her accounts. You really don't need to have this done as her POA. It's best not to co-mingle money in case of a future need for Medicaid. Do you have debts? Is your mother aware that you do or don't have debts. Having debts with your name on her accounts will increase the temptation to borrow or take your mother's money to pay your debts which is not right.
