My father is an Alzheimer's  patient. He is having problem in speaking. he can't remember his shifts. sometimes it seems like he is getting irritated with everyone.

I'm not aware of ways to increase memory for those who have AD. There may be some devices to assist or remind patients, but, they have their limitations.

What do you mean by him remembering his shifts? Is he still working? Gentle, verbal reminders from caretakers often works well, though, agitation is not uncommon.

Aging can be very frustrating not only for the caregiver but also for the parent. They aren't able to do things like they did 20 years ago.
