I took care of him for 2 1/2 years by myself then I thought he was at a point when he needed more help so his daughter and I decided to put him in assisted living. He lived in assisted living for a year I guess or less and got a cold and ended up in the hospital. Then ended up weak and they sent him to a rehab. The daughter called me back and asked me to come work with him again and sit with him in the rehab cause she wanted him to get better one on one while he was in the rehab. The rehab ended up abusing him and I got him out after he went to the hospital again cause of the rehab. Dehydrated and influenza. Now he's with me and off all the crazy mess and his Demetia is worse than it was and he's sleeping a lot, cursing, saying he's not happy but doesn't know where he is and he's haulisnating. Should I let him sleep as much as he wants? I feel bad? I know this is part of it, I just feel like a bad person letting him sleep all day and I can't keep him on any schedule this way?

Does he sleep because he is bored? Look into whether he may be able to attend adult day care, or if that is beyond his abilities now you could try playing music for him.
