Find Care & Housing
LDrum, welcome to the forum. Have you tried scrolling down to the bottom of this page, and on the left side you will see "In-Home Care", click on that and fill out the information card... now click on "Find Home Care".

For my very elderly Dad, I used a nationwide company called Home Instead... there are others such as Visiting Angels. These companies are licensed, bonded, and insured. They also pay for the Workman's Comp for their employees. The caregivers are up-to-date on their needed vaccines. You pay the company directly and they do the payroll. If a caregiver is unable to make his/her assignment, the company will find a replacement for that shift.

If you hire outside of any Agency, you become the employer, you need to check with your homeowner's insurance company to see if you need to get a Workman's Comp policy, in case the caregiver gets hurt on the job.
