My husband is a restless sleeper, so the blue absorbent pad gets scrunched up in the night. Any suggestions for keeping it in place?

You can buy clips that keep bed sheets in place -the clip onto the sheet then under the mattress-whether they’d tear the sheet is questionable tho being paper thin

we use disposable sheets but you can get the washable ones which are quite heavy like a mini quilt feeling and the Would def not tear. It would mean extra washing
But would work

we use highest level pants and high level incontinence pads inside that and that safe guards accidents

my dad was a mattress that plugs in good for laying in bed - it’s made of rubber cover so any spills can easily be just wiped away
they also sell waterproof bedsheets and mattress covers- not like in the past where they had noisy paper sounds - modern ones are quiet
all helps?
another idea in my head a beach towel over the pad would keep it secure then the sheet clips to hold it in place
good luck

There is wide variety of sizes, styles and colors of the washable pads if you look on line under pet care! You can get them from small pads up to large rug sizes with a non slip backing. In their descriptions they do include that they can be used for seniors and some of the patterns made my mother feel much more comfortable when we used them in public such as on restaurant seats.
you can also find washable pads (for people) that go all the way across the bed and have fabric on the ends so you can tuck them under the mattress to anchor them. We used these when my mother could still stay in hotels and they worked very well.

Are you using a disposable pad or a washable cloth pad?
I recommend both :)

I like the heavy duty Plaidbex 36" x 30" washable pads available online from Vitality Medical. The weight of it keeps it in place pretty well. I then like to add a disposable pad or two on top of that, so I can remove one if it is wet, and there is still a dry pad underneath.

I just recently discovered Walgreen's Certainty brand of disposable underpads are very thin and absorbent, but the large size pad stays put nicely. It does not have a slick, plastic backing. Get the large size, 36" x 30".

Never mind! I just found much larger pads online. Should have looked there before posting, but I'm kind of groggy this morning!
